Jeff is a highly accomplished, skilled Training and Development Professional. He continually impresses clients with both his creativity and vast depth of knowledge in all aspects of adult education and learning. Jeff is described by his clients as “a great combination of facilitator and trainer.” One of Jeff’s strengths is that he creates a learning environment where his session attendees feel at easy which makes critical knowledge transfer more effective.
As a Master Trainer, Jeff brings to Loran over 30 years of experience working with a variety of nonprofit, educational and corporate organizations. His skill sets and expertise include the development and facilitation of a variety of subjects.
Jeff possesses the skills, knowledge, and experience to succeed in the most challenging training situations. On many occasions he has been tasked with conducting training events for large groups of individuals from three or four different business lines/departments at the same time. These groups often have widely varying backgrounds and experience levels, and in every case the individuals left those events far more competent and confident than when they arrived.
As an independent consultant just prior to joining Loran, Jeff worked with Universities and non-profit organizations providing support for their programs by bringing training resources to employers and individuals.
Jeff’s tenure also includes senior management positions with several Fortune 100 firms including: Constellation Energy and Deutsche Bank, as well as a retained consultant role with Right Management, a national outplacement firm.
Jeff received his MBA and BA from Loyola University Maryland and is a member of the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu. His certifications include The Workplace Excellence Series Master Certified Trainer, Jay Block’s Protean 5 Steps to Rapid Employment, Certified 5 Steps Instructor™, Training from the Back of the Room Certified Master Trainer, Bowperson Publishing and Training.
