John Gardner, MBA, LFACHE, NHA, Senior Strategy Consultant, Senior Care InnovationsJohn Gardner brings 40+ years of senior level leadership in the healthcare arena to include acute care hospital administration, physician practice management, and post-acute skilled nursing and rehab administration.

As a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE), John has learned, experienced and taught literally thousands of employees and operational leaders in a broad range of strategy planning, operational effectiveness, clinical excellence, Triple / Quadruple Aim outcomes, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. John is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and most recently completed 8 years as CEO of one of Ensign Group’s largest SNF operations to include having won the prestigious Ensign Flag award for financial, clinical and culture achievement. John is also a graduate of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF) Leadership Academy and served on the Board of his local CAHF chapter.

John is on the Advisory Council of the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging which is one of 33 area aging agencies operating under the direction of the California Department of Aging. In that role he helps create senior care innovations that include policies and service strategies in four critical areas: health, nutrition, housing and transportation – all critical factors in rapidly expanding field of population health for assuring optimal aging. Population health opens many doors for innovation and integration of services for current and new providers at the most appropriate and effective provider venues.

In addition to making his broad range of skills, insights, and empowerment tools to LORAN clients, John is the Executive Director of Triad Leadership Group which is dedicated to working with organizational leadership teams as their TEAM COACH. As in a sports setting, it’s the TEAM COACH who works with the quarterback and other team members to pursue perpetual individual and team growth, as well as achieve excellent operating results as the team WINS. In addition, John’s approach develops new leaders from within the organization to assure optimal succession planning, assure leadership for organic growth, and facilitate merger and acquisition opportunities. John is a Certified Member of the John Maxwell Team and is licensed to bring the broad breadth and depth of Maxwell leadership development training and coaching content and methods to Triad clients as well as to LORAN clients. John Maxwell has authored over 100 books on the subject of leadership development and is recognized by the American Management Association as the top leadership expert in the world.

We are especially delighted to have John Gardner’s many years of operational and leadership experience coupled with Maxwell content and methods available for our LORAN clients. As we all know, effective leadership is at the heart of all organizational success. No matter how great our plans, our facilities, our financing, etc. – ultimate success is based on the character and capacities of the organizations leaders. In order to grow LORAN client organizations, we must first grow their leaders.
