Julie M. Adduci, Senior Strategy Consultant, Senior Care InnovationsJulie brings 35 years of experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors of healthcare to the Loran team. She is highly accomplished and skilled in healthcare leadership, management, operations, and training. Her wide range of experience, in various retirement community and hospital settings, brings a unique perspective to the group.

With expertise in long term care, assisted living, skilled and intermediate care settings, Julie is well versed in all aspects of “step down” post-acute care. Her focus on bringing teams together to provide exceptional delivery of care, meet quality assurance and performance improvement goals, all while working towards an organization’s strategic vision are her keys to successful engagements.

Julie’s clients achieve success through: Updating and aligning policies, procedures and actions with great attention to detail to meet industry standards and regulatory guidelines, such as IDPH & CMS, OIG; Promoting and managing clinical services with physicians and other health care providers for the purpose of reducing risk and enhancing quality; Development of leadership staff and cohesive teamwork to achieve goals as identified by the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining The Loran Group Julie’s accomplishments have included the development, launch, and management of Dementia Specific Care Units and Geriatric teams to deliver services to seniors at multiple Long-Term Care facilities; EMR selection and implementations; Strategic plan development and execution; designing and launching facilities-based staff development and retention programs. She has worked with attorneys to prepare litigation and informal dispute resolutions to prevent or reduce fines from IPDH/CMS and has successfully presented to Administrative Law Judges without any deficiencies.

Julie received her BA from Chicago State University, majoring in Social Work and Sociology. George Williams College Undergraduate studies in Psychology, Social Work, & Gerontology, Completion of Dementia certification at NIU. Her certifications include Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Caregiver Consultant, and Completion of McKinley Leadership Training.

She has regularly presented at Leading Age, regional and national conferences on various topics ranging from Memory Care in a SNF, Staffing retention and recognition, Dementia Specific Care delivery to Accountable Care Organizations and the impact on your business and service. In 2010 Julie was recognized as Professional Woman of the Year in the health care industry by the National Association of Professional Women.

Her Professional associations include: ASA, Leading Age, AHCA, IMADA. AAHSA, NAHCA, CCC, CCE, Aging Well Program Committee with PPI. Brookfield Aging Well Committee- Programming and Community Outreach Berwyn Development Corporation, Professional Women’s Team. A member of the Adventist/Amita ACO team aligning SNF/Hospital systems.
